Welcome to the Emerging Pastors cohort! This page provides you with the details you need to know as you participate in this cohort experience.
Overview
This cohort experience is designed to equip you to bring your best self to your ministry role. We will focus in four main areas:
- evidence-based leadership principles
- ministry skills
- personal development
- spiritual formation with an emphasis on BIC distinctives
Development Events
This cohort will meet one Saturday per month from October to May. The day will run from 9:30 to 3:00.
Please arrive between 9:00 and 9:30. We will have coffee and snacks ready for you. Lunch will also be provided.
Please inform Melanie Wigg of any dietary restrictions.
There may be a short article to read or assessment to complete before the Saturday events. See the schedule below for the topics we will cover each day, as well as what you should complete to prepare for the day.
During this cohort experience we will each share about ourselves using the 4 H Team Building model. It is a meaningful way to get to know each other better.

All Saturday sessions will be held at 1240 Advance Road, Burlington.
